One of my cocks in the race team has gone a bit offish on me he has gone very fat around the vent since the weekend it all most feels like when a hen as gone egg bound don't know if he is passing anything he is not over weight at all

Mark when in doubt take it to the Vet ; had a similar problem here with a cock some time ago & it was a Deep canker causing blockage ;seperated it & treated for 5 days also place on bailey that fixed my problem ; but yours could be a Tumur causing the same thing ; cheers

Thankls for that the deep canker did cross my mind when you hold him and feel the vent its not hard but soft and the vent bones are apart

Maybe your right in your assumption K "The Vet" etc . Rings $ signs for this duck here . Especially with our Dr Spock just round the corner as such. Truth be told I've just come in from sending one of my good cocks to heaven.
