racing this week

we have decided to basket Saturday for a sunday race from ripon 189 miles on the north route and looks like a headwind for the first time this season ...our south route organisation look to be sticking with Saturday from poole and at present don't look good at all so if they stick to their guns and weather looks same come tomorrow afternoon then I wont be sending ...when and where are fellow members racing this weekend

I'm at mangotsfield again this weekend looking at the weather daz might be dinner time lib but don't mind holdover what ever is best for the birds

We are at yeovil this week 118mils sent 12 hens and 5 cocks only one cock missing from last week now weather looks OK from around. 13 00 onwards

I'm at Rippon tommorow 194 miles to me.
I fed them up today as last night the weather looked bad and I thought it would be a holdover, I'm not so sure now,
I've only got 4 cocks do best to air on the side of caution.

Funny how things are differant O/S "Eggs/motivation" Down here we hate to see our hens getting clucky etc until the last few races of our season & even then many prefer they just race to their perch as such.

nature is taking its course oz what can i do this pair have laid for a 2nd time so will let them sit this round as they are dominating the floor and stopping others from pairing ...i do have grills down but it does not seem to deter them atb

They are just hot blooded O/S besides where would the world be      without a bit of hanky panky etc to fill in time .
