hot spot number 1 today 0ver 400 birds landed on the loft 4 minutes later none of them had gone through the trap one bird came after all the 400 and went straight in lol
anyway we got all our 4 home but not fast enough or they could have been in the first batch
but sat on the loft dosent win a penny oh well always another day

Glad your still in the hunt G . Anybody who has watched this event over time etc comes to the sad conclusion I suspect there, bad trapping is a trait they learn pretty damm quick I'm .

when lots ariive george fro 86 miles unless its motivated it wont trap a loner will
the art of racing young birds is motivation get that right forget the trapping don is in a hot bed
of great flyers second to none he will tell you blink and the guy next door will have 20 in the loft i went to walters and broadhurst on the vanrobys classsic they came like an army of ants one after the other sorry in tens and all they had was a clock stb had this been the same today they woould have been seconds away 5 grand in  the 1996 was good money

As for Walters and Broardhurst the Van Wildermersh flyers, they were the dogs you know what, there pigeons came as a team and were not individuals like some fanciers have everyone won and won big

When Bill died the fancy lost a fantastic fancier who was not afraid to fly against the best from any were

In my area your birds have to be in gear and there mind on the job big time no messing about and its not about starving them either to trap

But that's another tail

their still in it to win it graham that's the main thing atb

all home again today and birds are getting the hang of it now we were 5th uk section and 68th
open 2588 birds and it was a win for a uk bird as well today
