| yes indeed I will could be a good alternative to the darkness system but you have to breed quite late |

| what if ybs were bred early and left natural, would they be nearly moulted out for when racing starts...? |

| have heard some say this was ok for 5/6 races and some even held til end of race programme ....save the work breed later ...different for those who got ybs going out to other fanciers |

| yes true........also often wondered if ybs weaned onto darkness are any different to ybs put on when the clock alter, will they be more moulted, or will they hold the moult longer.......or will they perform better ? |

always like mine to have a week before going on the dark but I wont be darkening again to chase yb prizes but that's just my opinion some guys love yb racing I am happy for them to be fed well and gain experience if a win comes along that's a bonus ...its the consistent ybs you want not the 1 win wonders |

I just think its good for them to be eating and drinking well before going onto limited eating and drinking hours |
