I have a situation!

we are all still learning phil glad all is resolved

phil, personally I do not interfere with ybs or eggs unless necessary.....ring the ybs around 6 / 7 days, have a quick check to see if alls ok, then return them to the nest bowl and leave them......as for eggs laid again in the same bowl, leave them......ive never known ybs in the nest smash eggs, but that's just me.

alternatively if you suspect the hen is going to lay again put another bowl in the other side of the box, therefor giving her the chance to lay somewhere else.

but like I say, leave well alone as much as possible....but that's just my opinion.
