| good luck to all racing this weekend we are sending 14 to Portland our channel race was put back due to the French strike so we never sent ...sending 7 cocks their first race ever and 7 hens 4 of which have paired and layed could be good motivation as they seem keen lol had all 4 hens in 2 bowls last night I would put up a pic but don't know how ...funny to see though atb |

| Essex combine are up at Perth 10 am in a NE wind. I've sent 7. 6 latebreds and a 2 year old. So fingers crossed, I know a lot of latebreds don't like East in the wind so it could be a long wait. Good luck to everyone racing today, hope you all get good returns. I've got a latebred cock that hasn't performed this season, I noticed him hanging onto one of the top nest boxes that are empty. I went home from lunch on basketing night and opened it up, when I came home after work to basket them he was spinning round in the top beatbox so hopefully his performance will improve today, you've got to watch your pigeons for little signs. |

| I think this could be a bad day for racing, we had totally overcast and showers here all morning now it's stiflingly hot and humid with hardly no wind, I reckon it could be a smash. |

| No I don't like to know David, it spoils it for me, but my strike got put back to 9 pm, and I just had 2 within 5 minutes of each other, the first is a little latebred, she came in and hasn't eaten or moved away from the drinker, she's given everything, she wouldn't even eat out of my hand. The 2nd one looks fresh as a daisy after 9 and a half hours on the wing.

well done steve on a difficult day the clocks were obviously put back for a reason we had another cock bird turn in looks tired so that's 10 out of 13 and one of our hens has been hawked she will be ok but that's her season over ...good luck lads for tomorrow |
