- No I don't like to know David, it spoils it for me, but my strike got put back to 9 pm, and I just had 2 within 5 minutes of each other, the first is a little latebred, she came in and hasn't eaten or moved away from the drinker, she's given everything, she wouldn't even eat out of my hand.
The 2nd one looks fresh as a daisy after 9 and a half hours on the wing.
We are of the same/similar breed Boosey "don't like to know" Happy to have a ring around an hour after type of thing with my mates, but the clock & ring types get right up my nose sadly & then you have the ones, that would not give you the time of day for most of the season, but ring you in the long ones as if they were your best buddy & then want to know your time etc . |

| Wash out here. Sent 10 un-raced yearlings 210 miles. Weather was terrible! Hot, humid, thunderstorms etc,. Got 4 out of the ten (by 12 noon today.) 1 yesterday. Did not get a call for clock off but would not have bothered anyway. Hours drive from here. So, second bird was the feather legged red pied, pic on here last year. Have another ten un raced yearlings to go next week. 243 miles. Cutting them down quite nicely. Still 6 weeks of racing left so will be sending experienced birds as the weeks progress. |

| Yes, hard on them. However, the forecast was better than the actual weather on the day. Still hot and humid and stormy. Need Ozzie birds!! |

| There was only 13 home in my club yesterday from Perth in a sticky race, I got 3 home and was 7th 8th and 10th. The 2 hens that were 8th and 10th were nest mates.
