its a shambles edgie......the birds would be better off liberated into a bit of rain than be kept confined again, apart from bringing them home that is.

even so, it seems bad for the pigeons being cooped up for all this time......lets hope they go tomorrow and bring an end to this shambles....

don't see why they wont just bring them home......just because the rspca say they look ok, it doesn't mean they are....I`ll bet some wont even come out of the basket if/when they are opened. will be interesting to see what sort of a race it is, if they are ever released, and what sort of returns they have.

all birds in good order david, if i can get them right they will go again no problem, glad to report my good grizzle cock arrived home safe 6-20am first ever night out for him in his life, plus he is still his old self, dominated the floor in no time l.o.l. he is a real charictor, thats 4 out of 4 home and fair play to the convoyers they have done a good job with the birds and looked after them well, credit where its due

let the birds out this morning and was very disappointed, my second bird home cant fly properly, and the grizzle cock who came back next morning was also reluctant to fly, think they may have had a knock, will give them a good looking at later today when it stops raining, fingers crossed they are ok, and its not end of season for them.

just been reading something about the mnfc birds, they mentioned something called "wing lock" which I`ve never heard of.......I presume its something because they have been in the basket for so long, but I`m not sure. some are saying the birds who have it will never be the same again......... or is it something nothing to do with being confined...?

just checked the 2 birds in question, both have slight swelling to one wing, but I think they will be ok in a few days, as for wing lock I have heard of it but not seen it, if these 2 cocks have had enough then they will go in to stock loft, as they have both earned there place
