Bird limits

Do you agree with limits. .I personally don't. .I don't want false positions myself.if a bloke beats me with 10 birds that's fair enough. If he limeted to say 3 birds I wouldn't want to be 4th if I wasn't. .if he had 20 before me I would just try even harder and believe me we have been there watching others get loads before us..nothing worse but I am against limits ..what's your thoughts

Agree as well Ray, I read somewhere that some clubs will only give members a maximum of 2 prizes, even though they could have the first 20 birds in the clock, can't see the point in that, especially if you get the 21st bird and get a 3rd prize for it, beggars belief that

it gives a false result, like ray says if a fancier clocks 6 birds before anyone else and is only allowed 2 or 3, then other pigeons which would in reality been 7,8,9, etc are elevated up the sheet to give a false result, which can also be bad if they sell pigeons on the strength of it...

We have a rule that says first 3 birds you clock both in club and fed. It's a joke.they are kidding themselfs. They should stop it and try harder

Both clubs we are in have a 4,bird limit for club and fed.

So why do they do it is it because they cannot compete with the top men .like david says it could help these people when selling pigeons...

Who knows Ray I ain't bothered about how many people clock in you pay to send them so you should be allowed to clock them and have them read off.

But I do like racing in 2 and 3 bird clubs

Which we have a lot of them in this area

Yes they are a good idea and every club should have separate 2 or 3 or whatever clubs to put everyone a equal keel and make it interesting

We as have a super club which is a max of 5 birds I think at £300 membership a year but the winnings are there everyweek
