| I bought some Backs Omega Plus Oil at the beginning of the year, and although it is very good, it is quite expensive.
Can anyone recommend a cheaper alternative please.

Do you give then this before their real breakfast - of is this their breakfast Darren? Do you give your bird other seeds in the morning? And what grits and minerals do you use? Phil |

| At the minute I'm giving the birds cod liver oil twice a week, I used to use it when I had finches and it gave good feather quality, so we'll see how the pigeons are on it, just a little on the seed and away to go |

Yep, I mix it about 30 minutes before feeding to the birds, smells nice, and the birds like it. |

| Thank you everyone, for your input.
I went out and bought some black rape seed and a good quality Rape seed Oil this afternoon.
So now my birds are All Greased Up and as slippery as hell! The problem is - all their feathers are sticking together and they look like an oily rag! lol.
