| I think a wild looking eye brown in colour shows the tenacity of the bird ? |

| ive all different types and colours of eye in my loft, and because ive done very little racing in the past few years since I re started, I cant really say if noticed a type of eye which races well.....hopefully over the next few seasons I might be able to form an opinion and take note of any good pigeons eye type/colour. |

| Firstly - Spot on Edgie - 'Watch your birds and observe!
Secondly - Eyesign - that is a whole different world.
I think Geoff Cooper of Bath got it right when he said:-
"I studied eyesign for 5 years. Read every book I could get my hands on, on the subject. I had over ten books of notes in three cardboard boxes, and I thought I had got it sussed. Then realised it is a whole load of bunkum and put all my work on the fire and burnt it all".
Ours is the only sport, when one looks into a pigeons eye to tell if it is going to be good or bad.
To me it is a lot of nonsense.
The only theory that works for me is the 'Feet' theory - the First Feet through the door is the fastest one!
