pigeon world fancier of the year

hi lads n lasses could I have your vote for your idea of pigeon worlds fancier of the year can I ask all members to get involved please its 1 vote per person remember its not necessary performance related ,some of the best fanciers I know have never won a race,theirs plenty that deserve it but we have to choose 1 and remember this is a annual event so whoever wins it this year needs to send it to next years winner ,maybe we could hand the trophy out at blackpool each year by the way I am exempt from the competition being one of the organisers...anyway lads heres my vote

My vote goes to darren. From the time i started in pigeons darren has helped me with Alot of advise, great birds and genral support. All ways goes out of his way to help on the forum to anyone that is in need. which is why i think darren is the pigeon world fancier of the year

exactly ray ...feck me how long does it take to post a members name ...hardly gives encouragement to put yerself out ,I try to answer all the topics else whats the point coming on here if you only have your own agenda some people would do well to get involved instead of the me me meeeeee attitude

agree don, Darren and ray have both helped a lot of site members over the years, genuine fanciers they are, and always been loyal to our forum with their support.

Why can't members vote for you daz, just because you've helped organised the trophy doesn't mean your out of the competition

david sorted the trophy m8 no i am happy helping out here honestly that's where i get my pleasure seeing others with a smile on their face as i said before some of the best fanciers i have known have never won anything they work tirelessly for others all for nothing i have had plenty help from a couple of guys here namely david and ray i have not bought a pigeon for 3 years now and have acquired some good blood i cant begin to think of a more worthy winner than one of those 2 but david like me is a organiser/admin so we count ourselves out ,thanks m8 atb

yes I`ll second that lofty, Darren certainly is one of the good guys, he has helped me over the years when I needed advise, when my birds were ill and I didn't know what to do to get them right again Darren sent me medication free of charge, even paying postage which he would take nothing for.......and also giving me good advise on feeding, management etc.

I had been out of pigeons for over 20 years, and things had changed a lot when I restarted, plus the slight bit of knowledge I had gained all those years ago had been forgotten, so thanks to Darren and one or two others on this forum I am now still into pigeons and keeping them healthy...


and also thanks to Darren for his help and support in running the forum, and his commitment for organising these sponsors who have donated the pair of pigeons ian young has won, and the vouchers john norm has won...

come on chaps, who do you nominate for our fancier of the year trophy, you only need to say a name.....

I'll vote for daz for what he has done to make things interesting top man
