| guys be very careful what u say today i went and collected a stray y/b that had overflown its loft by aprox 170mls the bird had been picked up in the workshop the secretary had reported the bird and put it in a big box with water and crushed biscuits when i spoke to her she says to me the owner wont KILL the bird if so they aint getting it i explained to her that no way would it be culled it had overflown its loft and was only a y/b at my explanation she seemed very relieved i told her once the bird was fit i would get it back to its owner guys what ever u do when collecting any strays reasure the public that the owners are pleased to get them back and are not in the habit of culling them its in our own interest to show the public our sport in a good light all the best sean |

| had the same sort of thing twice this year sean non fanciers brought birds to me worried the owners are going to cull the birds makes you embarrassed to be a pigeon fancier tbh at times |

| I all ways put the public right .but prefer them to get home on there own if possible |

| yeah happened to me this year, fella from Wirral caught y/b that had been gone off loft for 2weeks, he was really upset at the thought of me killing bird so much so he was willing to keep it, reassured him I cant kill my birds, we keep in touch he is good sort |

| Some people are thick then again you have idiots who think once reported you always get them back. .if a member of the public is willing to help you our which is my case has happened a few times that's great..as we all its expensive getting birds back and obviously sometimes you have to if say it's injured or so ,but as Sean says you have to reassure the public with want them all back |
