I think I mentioned before I have an eagle owl replica stuck on top of my father in laws hen house because thats where he has a feeder for the wild birds, the sparrow hawk always went there to kil them but since hes had it there they stay away.

you could always use a perigrine falcon dummy that might work too, I saw one in the gun shop the other day. just keep moving it around the garden each week.

ken, ive heard of all sorts of ideas and altho the fanciers who use them swear by them, their are those who duspute they actually work.....but like i say if it works for you or others who swear by it then give it a go........ ive also heard of the c.d.`s , imitation owls etc and they must work for someone...... id use anything or give anything a try as when i had a yb go the other year its annoying and upsetting.....

A chap by me uses a trap for sparrowhawks, works a treat. But remember If one kills a bird but gets disturbed it will come back for it, so leave it there and hide. Then you can shoot it while its eating it.
