| seen a pr flying round our area again today, hen is massive, crows chased them off |

| Steve I have mentioned this before but we down here see more hawks than robins....It will get worse mate. |

| a mile from us in quarry theres a peregrine nest havent seen them yet, 1 of lads thought hen hawk was a goshawk it was massive, bigger than the 1 i saw last week |

| we have a pr ere mate the cock seems to be going in spliting the pack and hen grabing the birds ... but the crows seem to be a little help chaseing them but main help is air rifle and then there is a few lofts with yellow flashing becons on dont know it tat helps |

| yes phil they reckon the flashing beacons do help as the hawk cant concentrate on prey with it flashing |

| i worked on a refiery new build and full of flashing becons and percy still killing used to watc her most days goingin to the boys birds |

| they also say that cd discs hung on string stops the hawks coming in garden aswell |

| I think its the same as everything lads, it works for a while but they get used to it, If they see something strange in a place they have been before it puts them off for a while, but after time they dont care, howmany times have you seen a crow on the arm of a scarecrow? |
