first race day saturday ....

hi all well it club first race saturday and cant make my mind up if to send and i only have 1 pr that is in my name i posted transfer card off last week with others and it not back comfirming transfer ... so might just send them for the training flight

who else is raceing ...how many u sending ....

hope they do well for you phil, pity about the transfers........im only racing ybs this year so a few weeks off yet for me.

mine are flying round now ray, all over the sky at the moment but another week they hopefully will be bunching..........

i wouldnt dare force them up incase they didnt come back, ive just let them go at their own pace and let them decide when they are ready...........

yes but not to long or they will be too strong

yes i know what your saying about them being too strong on the wing, but ive had them out every morning ever since they were weaned......so all this time in and out of the loft and walking around the garden etc will have given them knowleage of where they live..........

this year because ive done this every day so far ive lost none compared to last year when i couldnt hold on to them and i lost more off the loft than i had left.............i put this down to me not sticking to my routine and letting them out every morning, sometimes i would let them out a couple of days in a row then keep them in for three days, not good........

yes ray they have had plenty of training had a few tosses from york and then been flaging them i put five in for a toss and just to get the buzz of them comeing back ...

Good luck Ian, I think the weathers much better for saturday.

been wind and rain all day here today martyn..............hope its better tommorrow for letting ybs out, plus also for ians racers..

Yes same here david all day rain and windy, did get the youngsters out early they look farward to it now, they are not flying just sitting on the landing board taking it all in. We have a spring fair tomorrow in wales so off to that tomorro, seen forcast and its a lot better tomorrow.

yes martyn, been getting mine out every day.......like you say they expect it now even tho` they are only flying around seperate all over the place, but im happy with them so far and i think within about another week they might be bunching together a bit, altho` they are having a good fly round even on there own.......

first race sunday,terrible,miles behind hopefully better next time as they will be on roundabout and widowhood then.so they better improve
