| I wasn't there but got a phone call to say it hit one of my birds in the garden today..my mate managed to frighten it off one bird but the bird went missing for a while and the rest flew a long time around the loft..I wouldn't cate but I bought 2 bloody dummy owls last week and the nugget never put the out lol...anyway it's been a lucky escape today . |

| i found mirror balls work well ...get a ornamental garden steel ball drill a small hole out and get a broom handle and stick a nail in the end then put the ball on top ....£5 for the ball and a couple of quid for a broom handle or similar ...I have 6 scattered about the garden and a owl too but you have to keep re-positioning the owls as a resident hawk would soon know yer game I would think atb |

| Instead of all that crap-ola the BBC showed the other night in cahoots with the RPRA - they should be doing a LOT more to protect our birds from these hawks!
Why do the RSPB spend thousands of pounds on protecting these killers - who are, at the end of the day, living off our birds, and bugger all on protecting these amazing athletes we love so much.
Get those OWLS up Ray and scare the bejabers out of those pesky hawks.
