Had the younguns out for their evening exercise when out of nowhere bang, all youngbirds were scattered everywhere, I saw one yb it looked like it had got stuck in the tree. It fell to ground and went under the kids trampoline followed closely by a sparrowhawk. I managed to get the youngbird, its got a gaping wound in it's chest and now got about 12 birds refusing to come in. Bstrd things.

I'm still about six adrift. Yep David everything happens so quickly, but I don't think the thing liked boiling hot coffee that it got thrown all over it, I had just made a brew and went back outside. But yes I shall remain calm, at least for the time being. Na sorry I'm pissed off and extremely angry.

Yeah mate dickheads. I'm sorry but anyone who can defend these killers, perhaps have a screw loose. I just hope they are allergic to coffee. It was was just a natural reaction brought on by sheer panic. have still got two missing.

I'm just glad Amy wasn't there and it wasn't one of hers. I did have to go in school last week, as Amy was in the playground with some of her class mates and her teacher and they spotted a Buzzard gliding around in circles, the teacher asked does anyone know what it is. Poor Amy replied it's a fcking Hawk miss. That took some explaining, but I have convinced her that they are only F'ing hawks when we are in our back garden

this is wat these bop loving exstremists dont realise ,,,,,not everyone enjoys seeing a bird rip another apart and eat it alive ,this would be very distressing for most children ffs its distressing for me i think a few truths are starting to come out though with the dodgey surveys on raptor numbers

I can honestly say mate, that the tide is beginning to turn in our favour. I go on a site where I show my photographic images. I put on a few graphic images of hawk attacks on pigeons. Some of the messages I got were unreal, people asking me to remove them because they found them disturbing and upsetting. Even a few said, they never knew that side to pigeon racing existed and said they found it disturbing that nothing could be done. I think those sort of images need to be publicised to a wider audience, just to drive home the extent of the problem. I have tried to prepare Amy for the worst, but I would hope she never witnesses an attack. She will be devastated.
