I have just realised that I didn't give you the answer to the first brain teaser.

I think quite a few got it right away.  It was "The hook part of a galley pot".

However I think it might keep people's interest if you DO write in and give us your ideas, before the end of the week.

well done phil its a good idea at least you are doing something positive for the site and contributing

great idea phil, and one which is good for the forum to create a bit of interest before racing starts, but in my opinion I would think it would be better for members to post up on the topic what they think it is, rather than pm, as posting on topic is creating activity on the forum, while doing it by pm isn't, and the topic will soon be forgotten about as it goes down the list of active topics.


just my opinion, but well done anyway phil for trying to create activity for the forum.
