if im not mistaken were these the ybs which phil and steve exchanged because they joined the site after the original exchange was drawn........?if phil wants to put three ring nos down to see how they do i dont see a problem with it, its not as tho` we are competing for money......after all its to create a bit of interest during yb racing.....

that was the idea david two each ,if you remember we where trying to have a prize for the best bird ie a framed photo or something so we all had to be equal

i think at the time ray there was quite a bit of a difference of opinion over this, and things started to get too complicated.........as it is now its just a bit of fun.

david so are you knew how you would react iam not bothered either way whether i have none 1 six or ten not bothered as i did not get my exchange birds

the thing is david when we set this up it was for two birds no more no less think you should stick to original plans otherwise why bother

any other members who are involved in the yb exchange have any views on the subject?, as far as im aware it was never decided there would be any sort of prize for the best yb performance.......the only possibility at one point was a photo provided by a site member but that never worked out.......i think we must be careful this minor discussion doesnt get out of hand as at the end of the day its for fun only................

it is only fun david but i want to still win the competion,why not,the reason we said there would be a prize was to give members more incentive to compete and win it.thats why we asked sue for a photo of the winner

ray, what cometition are we talking about.....? and what prize.......? remember sue never replied to your pm`s so that answered the question of a photo, plus she has more important buisiness going on herself at the moment than to bother about our photo......you can rule that out.

plus ray and anyone who is involed in the exchange...........we never decided on any rules, judging performances or prize, in fact as far as i can remember nothing was decided apart from us all doing a mutual exchange of ybs.......

i had this conversation with ray the other day and yes they was a mention of a photo getting done for the successful winner

yes you are right ian, there was talk of the photo being done.......but as ray will tell you he never received a reply so i think we can safely count the picture out as a prize, now if all who is involved in the exchange can come up with any new ideas re some sort of prize for the best performance from an exchange yb, it would give us a bit more incentive and make things a bit more interesting for us......

so far there is nothing agreed but as we have a few months yet till yb racing it leaves us plenty of time to discuss it............

Stop the beckering and at the end of the season just post the reasults just to show how the pigeons have done

nobody is bickering just airing our views don your not in the exchange so it doesnt concern you ,so why interfere
