seen a photo of inside a fanciers loft the other week, and the water in the drinker was bright green....it wasn't due to bad hygene or management etc, it was something the fancier had added to the water......anyone know what it was...? Suspect Suspect

It's an algea David, grown in certain areas in large ponds etc for human & animal use. Far more benefit than a piece of lettuce Wink Wink Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes & has just about every mineral under the sun in it along with some vitamins as such by my understanding. Mr Google Smile Smile know's far more than I do about it, but I have used it in the past when I was much more keener with the birds here.  cheers

I think your right knackered, I've just been reading up on it, it's amazing how much goodness there is in it, very high in protein, nutrients and anti-oxidants.
It's an algie that's been around for millions of years.
