Green Water...?

seen a photo of inside a fanciers loft the other week, and the water in the drinker was bright green....it wasn't due to bad hygene or management etc, it was something the fancier had added to the water......anyone know what it was...?

I've got veg water in my drinkers tonight from yesterday's dinner.
But that's not bright green it's dull.

At a guess "But I know nothing"     I would say Spirulina etc .

It's an algea David, grown in certain areas in large ponds etc for human & animal use. Far more benefit than a piece of lettuce & has just about every mineral under the sun in it along with some vitamins as such by my understanding. Mr Google know's far more than I do about it, but I have used it in the past when I was much more keener with the birds here.  

I think your right knackered, I've just been reading up on it, it's amazing how much goodness there is in it, very high in protein, nutrients and anti-oxidants.
It's an algie that's been around for millions of years.

Nice fitting/mixing it with all the other goodies one uses at times is where the art comes into it David, I would suggest    .

Credit to the man Boosey if it is Spirulina etc for stepping outside of the square as such. Doing better than I'm with the million year trick I must say as I only went back to Adam & Eve with my little brown bottle trick .
