| 325 miles for me tomorrow. Mostly yearlings. Tough headwinds. No one else in the club shipped. They informed me they do not fly past 270 miles. They do win the Fed quite often. Up to that distance. I sent 20. So competing against the Fed. Winds pick up from shortest Fed flier to my place (over 100 km) from 15 kmh to 35 kmh. Surprised the heck out of me, absence of fliers. I have noticed, putting the other members birds through previously, skinny birds with very narrow end flights. May be that is what sprinters are? |

| Our young birds were up at 07:30 in a slight head wind but mostly from their left side - all back bar 1 at 11:30 local time. Our first 3 or 4 were doing - 1310 metres a minute or 1435 yards per minute
Old birds were up at 08:00 - given the same velocity, they should be back around 12:30 hours (local).
How are the rest of the members doing?

| Temps in the low 30,s C. for the whole of next week. Aussie weather! I am curious as to how the Super Booster worked. 7.30 here, long end 391 miles was up at 6.15. 325 birds should be up soon. With the wind think it will be a 9 hour race. Good luck to all you folks! |

Thanks Mark. It looks like we are at least a week behind when it comes to the old birds. We are having a shocking O/B race, 50 still not home. They should have been here at lease 90 minutes ago. hay well - that's pig-ions. Phil |

| French update:-
Got all y/b's back bar one.
O/b's came back bit by bit - they mostly overshot or were dragged up north, judging from the way they returned.
Crap job this week. Also they mostly look shocking, all fluffed up, eyes half closed and all done in!
Don't know if they are ill or Christmas crackered.
I may give them some sort of treatment this week. We are not racing at all next weekend as it is over 500 miles and too far for our yearlings. Although, the amount of flying some must have done today to be away that long, they could do a long race. But 500 is too much.
We do our clocks tomorrow morning, so more info around lunch time Sunday.
Cheers lovely peeps.

| Kids and dogs. You can yell at them, cajole them, threaten them Seems like they are deaf. So how come without fail, they can hear a potato chip bag opening through 3 solid walls? Still waiting for birds here. Wind is SWest at 25km gusting to 45km. They are coming from the East. Probably Northerly now. 32 C, humidity 90%. Lots of yearlings, unraced as young birds. Not complaining, what I keep them for. We always live in hope. Why we race them I guess! |
