From Fed Topper to Master Chef
The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

One combine is rethinking shipping this weekend. Up North Combine. (Canada.) Fed I am in, no word yet as to cancellations. Hope they do not cancel. Thunderstorms and adverse winds against them. One cannot pick just good days to send. Many do. But fast races with no adverse weather is good for selling pigeons. Think though it does not show the true worth of the bird. But each to their own.

On average Hal I suspect you may be right etc sadly. Down here we counter act the normal type situation I suspect by being able to fly 4 differant lines etc out to 600 miles on a yearly rotation basis. Still on average it still suits those flyers down the bottom here because of the north winds, but at least it is an attempt to level the playing field so to speak.
