| If you have plenty room, big aviary, and they are worth loaning give me a basket full Different if someone doesn't really want them and is just pushing them on you instead of getting rid. |

| im paranoid about bringing any new birds into my loft, in case they carry illness ...... as it is now my birds do not mix with any other birds, this is part of the reason im reluctant to race , due to being in a basket with other birds . |

| i think im like that because ive not had much success with treating ill birds george, sour crop if caught early has been successful but if left too long i feel it effects their organs and respiratory and i cannot save them .
other stuff requiring anti biotics has been hit and miss, some recover while some dont . |

| sometimes they need to be treated for the simple things otherwise they die ,sour crop, worms ,canker ,cocci are all sorted very easily and will kill them if left un-treated but not a lover of antibiotics...each to his own but have treated sick pigeons that went on to win and stayed healthy thereafter ,who would have thought eh rearing 2 ybs is akin to a hard 500 mile race so rear 4 -6 ybs then you get the idea they may get a bit of canker/sour crop so the crop needs a bit of tlc like fennel tea once a week or some oregano you dont have to treat with drugs pigeons are hardy but not invincible |
