Fresh air.

This is a good way to vent with open door. Air and light. The 2 sides close in the middle with magnets. Just about self closing when you go through. Keeps the birds in of course.

Good idea Hal, but isnt the missus pissed off that you've nicked her net curtains.

Nah. Buy them like that. Keeps the flies out and cools the house. Not needed since we got an air conditioner.

Did have. Some escaped through the bobs. The mesh did not hold. Having to use it for stock birds. Changed my mind six times on what goes were. So far have never flown widowhood but will next year. 20 cocks.

Also no deep litter. Stable Boy only. Spent 7 hours cleaning lofts today.

Pile will burn for days then pile of softwood lumber ash for the garden. Stable Boy eliminates ammonia etc,. May go under another name in the UK.

Had me pull out the fridge and stove to paint behind them!! No matter how hard I insisted no one would look there! Family reunion this coming weekend. UK and Aussie ones will not make it. Still, about 40 should show up. Ummm..breed like flies...

Beautiful weather here. I really dread going! All those midgets and babies with diapers on. Make me feel old!!!

Reunion went not too bad. Tons of food left over. Lots of people. Aussies said they could not make it in time. They intended to get a ride on the big iceberg from the South pole but it was too slow. 50 firefighters from Ozz are on their way to BC. So many wildfires there, running out of crews. Crews coming in from all over the place. Worst season in a long time, so far and the season just starting.

I read/saw the news about the fire fighters Hal. Brothers in arms, mates rates etc & as it should be I say     when fighting large type bush fires, as we both tend now to have on a regular basis these days.

My son wants to do it next year. He has a farm and space. Reunion. Many tried to point out to me I and my wife was responsible for the multitudes! No way! Cold Canadian Winters!
