| Does anyone know anything about pigeon trailers.
Like:-
If I wanted to buy one off the self - where would I go?
If I was going to build one myself - Are there any restriction regarding size and hights?
Does anyone know where to get the special crates from?
Any ideas on cost?
Ect ... etc

| David - I have just looked though this week BHW and can't see anything to do with trailers.
Am I being blind? What page did you see the ad?

| How many birds you looking to fit in it? Geraldy is a company who specialize in pigeon trailers but there not cheep. The BHW will have a few for sale as the season closes and people give the sport up. Also like said keep checking E.Bay but good luck and let us know how you get on. |

| I like to be as independent as possible and do not like to have to rely on others too much.
And despite the jokes about our new car, at the moment I do not want to put pigeon crates and other dirty stuff in the back of our Subaru.
Therefore I thought that a trailer would be the answer. It is cheaper than buying a van.
Maybe not next year, but in the future I trust I will have maybe 100 - 120 birds to train.
I have no idea what pigeon clubs are around where we will be living in the Cinderford area, and what the catchment areas are for clubs in Gloucester or Cheltenham or the surrounding areas.
I think the answer will be to find a good second hand trailer and then convert it so it can take training crates of all different sizes. Not just special crates that cost a bomb.
In principle, I have no problem in taking other fanciers' birds with our lot when I take ours, but I have offered to take club members' bird in the past, and all one gets is 'grief' - never a thank you, just a pain in the neck when fanciers' birds don't come as they thought they should.
I will keep looking right now and look a lot harder when we get to England in October.

| Well Phil you will be just down the road from me when you move. Think your right to build your own as it will be what you want and suit your needs. Best of luck with it all. |

| Yes David - I saw that one.
Only problem is - the guy won't post it to frogland! LOL!
Seriously - I will contact the guy.
I am not in a position at the moment to go and collect anything. So now I know what is around, I might wait until I get back.
Cheers anyway.
