overcast here been like it all day...give me a colder crisp day with a blue sky anyday over this

Dull and damp, crap day

Turned cold again earlier, to be expected I suppose....

Its been bright sunshine here all day out the breeze quite warm

hope to be doing a bit today f/walker, theres a lot to do before the loft can go up, but once its done it should be straight forward putting the sections up........times ticking away, but hoping to have it ready to wean some ybs to

Weather for next few weeks is not too cold. About minus 6 Celsius nights, minus 1 or 2 days. Snow tonight. Not too much forecast. The bloody wind off Lake Erie is a killer though. But cannot complain. Two winters ago the gas lines froze up. 0 Celsius then below. Put in the heated biscuit tin water bases tomorrow.

Does the pigeon dropping freeze solid in the loft ?
Iv had it that cold here but a few years ago..
Got no electricity in the loft

Droppings, water fountains. I have electricity to the lofts. But only use light bulbs to keep the water from freezing. No heat otherwise. Hard when the stock birds are raising young. But does cull some out. Some get chilled etc,.

Horror Minus 6C . Plus 6C here Hal & I would sack all the so called expert forecasters, for allowing it to happen etc. 22C here at the moment &       which is just fine for this   type    .

Knackered. left fieldwalkers area, Hartlepool, the collieries many years ago. British Merchant Marine. Always hated going back to the UK. After Africa, Australia etc,. Got married. UK. Took a job in Bermuda. Then to the US. Then to Canada. Was planning to go to Aussie. but after 46 years here finally got citizenship. Son in law lives in Aussie. x son in law. He just loves it there. Why not? His wife is a smart Indian lady who has degrees coming out of her asshole. He dumped my daughter for the money train. It worked to his advantage. He is a carpenter by trade. Now he has a motorcycle big one all the other good stuff. Probably drinks DR Penfolds. The expensive stuff? However, he did what he thought would benefit him the most. As do most people. But each to their own.
