Much the same here just had the warmest January here in 160 odd years apparently. Didn't require any straw etc to keep warm as the average night time temperature through January was 18 odd degrees.

Remember when we left the dance halls, when about 16 etc. and slept in the haystacks - straw barns. Often after we'd been for a swin in the lake or river.
The lads that swam then took their clothes off is unbelievable.

Wife said 'Golly look at the sun shining in our front door/ windows - meant sun would be in the West!
Thought better check it isn't strange happenings in the sky.... Went out and it was the sun reflecting from across the road. Real bright. The nieghbour has just put in new windows!

Had patches of blue skies for short moments. Dull and over cast now. A good breeze.

horrible day here, rain during the night and still coming down now .......grey skies and windy

trip to corn shop this morning, straw, black minerals etc etc , didnt bother buying corn, got 6 bags from before christmas left, best use them up before i buy more .

Weather spoilt by high winds.

But I blame Putins hot air, apparently testing our resolve in the North Sea.

Home Guard readuy here, all been given new elastic for their catapults.

Windy here too. Looking out the window here, I see on my right side Lovely blue skies. To my left threathening dark clouds, not allowing a slight peck of blue through.

Weather been diabolical, rain, wind and cold.

Still the birds are singing their heads off when taking Misty for his walk in the morning, it is ideal habitat terrain, try to identify the birds from the song but too many involved, cheers you up in the morning, but would not want it all day.

Hope Knackered is OK and it is just they have stopped having weather over there.

You worry too much here etc Misty I'm   Time out moment for old knackered & you get all panicky Weather wise today here mower time again apparently by my list of jobs requiring attention now from my lovely Joyce as she shot out the door this morning to go do what ever woman do as such .
