So with the money in, 2 birds are selected by Tumley Lofts and entered. Are there any other plans? Just asking.

it never got resolved hal, tumley have been good enough to supply two of our entries, plus transport along to the rpra loft with other pigeons they are sending.........as for the other 2 birds the members never came to a decision, some went along with 2 from dons friend, while others were more in favour of 2 being bred by syndicate / forum members.

so its still up in the air.

Forget Tumley Smile Smile stretching the friendship thing, with their kindness "Big time" exspecting them to supply four etc. Friend of Don's it appears, happy to step up to the plate as such with 2 Wink Wink & this is more than pleasing to me to bring all this matter to a conclusion before xmas & finalize things. Just me thinking lol! lol! lol! other people here may have a differant view, but best what ever we may decide it's done before xmas I would suggest Smile Smile.  cheers

we need to know what and where they would be coming from, as you said before ray, the mans pigeons are very good for sprinting and you didn't think those would be good for the rpra one loft racing......I know don came back with the fact that the man had bought new stock, but we need to know what this new stock is, what has it won, as we don't really want to be "testing" someone`s new purchases blindly.

I haven't been on the forum for a while - partly because of all our moving house nonsense but partly because of the way no one could agree on the way the syndicate for the one loft race could agree on anything.

BUT I have just read this posting about Don's mates birds.

The last thing I heard about using birds from Don's mate was a Categoric NO! In fact I was told that a letter/email had been sent saying the same.

And now half of you have changed your minds and are in favour of using outsiders birds. Nothing against Don, you understand.

It is just I don't think that using non members birds should be OUT! There must be plenty of our members that have prime young birds - why not use them instead of using some guy that we don't even knows birds.

As for a name for the syndicate's birds - why bother - NO bird belongs to the syndicae.

Phil
