It is always nice to have good returns and also good positions in any sport.

The only thing that is a little heart breaking in our sport is the decline in both the numbers of fanciers and the birdage that is often bulked by mob flyers.

I can remember when we had to have limits on the number one could send due to lack of availability on the transporter.

We had clubs that sent as many as some feds send now.


If fanciers do not get together and not leave it to individuals to attempt to stop the rot there will be no point in keeping our feathered friends, too many fanciers of those left still are not worried about anything other than their own ability to enjoy the sport in their own fashion.
