HOT SPOT 1 REPORT

1st – Alan Richardson
Thank you for getting in touch with me regarding my recent win in the first hotspot race – it was great news. The young bird that won is a Heremans/Cuesters x Gaston Van Der Wouwer and is bred from a long line of winning pigeons.
The Dam is a Heremans/Cuesters yearling bred from my no 1 stock pair which l obtained from Louis Thjse Hulshout many years ago. They are the parents/grand parents of Club, Federation, Futurity races, Gold ring races and One loft race winners for myself and other people around the country. The Cock is a g/son of Wonderaske and the Hen is a double g/daughter of Olympiade.
The Sire is a yearling Gaston Van Der Wouwer which was gifted to me by my good friend Billy Thompson, Nottingham, bred from two direct imports, the mother being a Daughter of Gastons Kameil, and the sire of is National winner in 2018.
At this point, Jeremy, I would like to pay tribute to my two friends Jess Hotham and Neil Inger who sadly have both passed away now – they introduced me to visiting Belgium where we sourced some great pigeons, and without their help I would not have gained the success I have had.
I have attached a photo of myself and two of my grandchildren, Millie and Archie. The bird I am holding is the 2013 one loft winner which has gone on to breed club and fed winners.

2nd – KCM
My name is Barry Milburn, and I was very surprised to have done so well in Hot Spot 1. The result has been a great pick-me-up after not having a good season.
I would like to congratulate Alan Richardson for winning – well done Alan, you’re a hard man to beat! In the photo you will see myself and K.C. the dog; we both love pigeons but for different reasons, but she has calmed down as she’s got older.
The breeding of our pigeon is ‘Sticker – Donckers’ from a direct pair containing all the best of their top birds: “Wonderboy” “Superman” etc. etc.
Great racing – keep it up.
3rd – Blues Brothers
The youngster that came 3rd in Hot Spot 1 is bred from the cock that is G/Sire to the one that was 3rd and 1st in Hot Spots 3 and 4 last year. The Dam is a G/Daughter of Syndicate Lofts Golan and Steffi.

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
