3 good men !!!.

At times bad things happen to good men etc & today here, unfortunately was one of those days I'm . 3 good Americans out here, just doing a good deed fighting our bush fires crashed & were killed when their air/water bomber type plane crashed sadly. Cruel but many will never forget here what price they paid, in doing what they were doing & the ending as tragic as it was I suspect.

It is a sad fact that daily you read of similar incidents involving many different activities and events, so many people owe their lives to the heroics of other humans.

Some events would make one weep both at the result and the bravery of others.

Words fail me Knackered as to how I feel.

its heartbreaking the whole scenario oz ...loss of human life and animal life all those people without homes ,being homeless is one of the worst fellings anyone could have ,lets hope it settles down and people can get back to some normality,really feel for the land of oz and whats happening atb

Yes. US crew. They worked for a Canadian company. Lots of experience here.
Fires here not as bad as in Ozzie of course. And we do get snow for months on end.

It's quite extraordinary what's been happening down here  etc O/S unfortunately our real danger period is Feb/March for bush fires as such & so many are wondering just how things will pan out by the end of it all in a bush fire sense. Now       over 500 odd million dollars has been raised here so far to help those in trouble by normal every day type of folk     which maybe suggests     as crap as things are at times, the average person has a rather concerned factor built in with their way of thinking on such things. Except maybe I suspect    the scum bag looter types & the ones setting up fake charities to rort the system for their own benefit.
