Dark ybs moult.....???

noticed on all my dark ybs which are looking like yearlings now that the bottom part of the bar on all of them hasnt moulted out and got new feathers, is this normal on dark ybs.....?

no idea david noticed it on some of mine aswell i took mine off the dark todat as im in hospital on the 15th and my daughters cant reach the blind so decided to take em off now

hi rene, hope all goes well at the hospital.......im sure your birds will be looked after well till you get home. have heard of some taking them off dark now also but i will stick to the longest day this season as im just learning my way around at the moment.....

one thing i would wonder about when taking them off now is that will they start to moult the wing flights before/during racing.....?

dont know mate il cross that bridge wen and if dat happens lol

maybe someone with darkness experience can tell us rene......?

well the same with mine so must be normal lol.but i guess someone will through the spanner in nthe works and tell us otherwise lol,

hi mark, been told some hold them and others moult them.......most important thing so they say is that they dont moult the wing flights.
