| Remember a Blue pied Grooter cock I had oldstrain, known for having big wattles as I remember, paid half a crown for him ( Buster did anyway), when about 14 bred some good performers for me and others.
No need for all the rubbish put down pigeons throats today in those days.
Had him until joined the army and he did well afterwards in the hands of one of the older miners, as a breeder.
Childhood memories, feel more than sorry for the youth of today.
Regards.

I cringe in despair here I'm etc Misty for the youth of today as such. When seeing many of them acting now like those that they despise from the past etc & just makes one wonder, what their thought process is doing what they do & who they will erect now as a grand monument type structure & a shining light down the track for history to judge as such. ***** |

| When I started in pigeons here years ago, imported 10 Whittaker/Hammond Grooters. Reds, pieds etc,. Sent in a shabby cardboard box. String tied. They bred nothing for me. Same with Dordins. Des Mathys performed well. Then Tmaks reds were all I needed after that but did try others. |

| Good bad and indifferent Hal, in 'ALL BREEDS'.
Never bothered about breeds, just good healthy pigeons.
Then you form your own BREED.
If some of the past pedigrees had been put under scrutiny there would be some real laughs, or not.
Regards. |

| ah right, thought club would have been open, most local clubs and pubs are open now ......i think going on the clubs track record for problems with the ets since they got it, it would be wise to test a few T3`s each year, saves someone whos put time and effort into their birds, and turns up to enter them not been able to race .
so with the covid restrictions, and the basketing system them have in place, what system do they have in place if a member wanted to use a T3, and not ETS ...? |
