| no doubt bred for the fur trade ...what a awful industry/trade you would think in 2020 there is enough alternatives now instead of still living in the stone age |

| Agree, there are fabrics now that are as good as any animal fur etc;
To keep so many animals just to kill for their coats is beyond understanding.
As knackered indicated, what animal etc; will be next on the list.
If you develope a virus from animals it is more than likely that it will spread from animal to different animal species, the to humans as apparently in this case.
Interfere with nature and there is only one winner.
Regards.

I equate it in some ways to worms in pigeons maybe Ray Test 3/4/5/6 birds in the loft for the issue. Find 3/4/5/6 worms & all then have to be treated etc as a pro-caution/safety factor . Treatment of animals is a very complicated issue. God gave us permmision to kill them for food but also to treat them in a proper manner. I love all life, loooking at things in a logical manner, is it worse to kill an animal for fur than to kill for food ?. We kill millions of chickens only a few weeks old, full of chemicals for swift growth. I have had bantams and other types of fowl that I thought the world of as pets. We kill millions of what we call pests every year, I kill any rats that are daft enough to come around, and yet they are actually a very nice animal with bad behaviour. Not least of which fanciers will cull thousands of pigeons a year because they do not conform. FOOD FOR THOUGHT. Regards. |

| Rats are a different story as they cause many a problem for us pigeon men as well as others , I hate to have to kill them as with mice but it has to be done for obvious reasons |
