Flags for Mr Trump etc or just sending another message, maybe.

News on TV down here this morning. Local park in Washington in Yanky land  covered in white flags from top to toe etc. 246,000 of them actually     walk through the main entrance & there is a small plot the same with 25 odd flags in it representing New Zealand's present day corona death situation. Next to the patch in discussion here another patch of around 2,000 odd flags which is actually roughly the number that could have died under Trump's watch if he had acted in the same type fashion/manner as the people of New Zealand did when the had their crisis moment there with the virus. Leave you all to just figure out the message being sent by the flags in question, but I suggest not one Mr Trump would be impressed with somehow, if he was at all interested in the issue/matter & was somehow acting in the best interests of his local flock there since last Xmas    . & take care.

Think it time to stop point scoring and concentrate on abiding by the rules in an endevour to beat this problem.

Perhaps the money spent on flags etc; would be better employed feeding the starving who are still alive.

i believe the voting has been fixed, i think trump is right ......... biden is a very creepy wrong un , in fact he is senile and only in the running to enable a black woman to be the first female president .

I think they are both loonies,  as well as most Americans..most a sandwich short of a picnic

Still amazes me how one of the most powerful nations end up with two decrepid old fogies both obviously way out of their depth fighting out the presidency.

I feel both should be in a nursing home or asylum for the mentaly desturbed.

Just hope someone else has the red button, an old fogie scorned ??????.

Thank God for that etc David is what I say. 291,000 odd died in the 2nd world war there tragically for the America/English way as such, which most appreciate I would suggest for the heavy price they all paid, unfortunately. Trump has passed 250,000 odd dead from the virus now & its rising every day there while he is out playing golf. Come the end 300,000 odd there will be dead I suggest by the time he leaves kicking & screaming & having a dummy spit as normal so what a legacy to leave for the history books I would suggest & on/under your watch. Now seeing as I'm on a roll here happy to debate if you like, your Boris etc & his actions on the same issue      . Final note family on the local news here from America today, lost 6 to the virus there apparently any one like to have a punt maybe, who they all actually may have voted for at their recent election between Biden & Trump, the so called business man    .

i dont think you can blame trump for covid deaths, deaths would have happened whoever was in charge .......and also inflated numbers would have been the order of the day whoever was in charge too .

maybe if clinton had won, the deaths might have been double , who knows ......


ps, come on, does anyone actually think these covid death figures are accurate , and trust / believe in our governments ..........people are finally realising we are being lied to every day .

I fully agree David Corona deaths would have occurred who ever was in charge there etc. But I just wonder to what degree type of thing when looking at certain other countries & their handling of the same type issue. Trump I suggest showed a total lack of management skills right from the start there (even if he was a business man) with all the information available on the scenario at the same time, with detriment unfortunately now to his flock there I'm I suggest. Now     we all know     one can do magical things with figures as such     at times. Just ask Trump as a example, who has been bankrupt about 6 times apparently & he somehow declares he is still one the richest types in America    . Just wonder thou now     all those that went to the wall in his bankrupt issues there, which people do     would be feeling now with how he is acting on his last days in paradise etc    .

same here knackered , our very own doris johnson and gang could have stopped covid in its tracks if they had acted faster, and stopped all flights in to the uk ....they knew it was coming but did nothing to stop it .

first one to test positive, a Chinese person in york (uk) , doesnt take a genius to work it out eh .

Paper this morning, TRUMP TALKED OUT OF STRIKE ON IRAN.

Obvious he is thinking of means of either going out with a bang or making things as difficult as possible for others.

David, one can blame this that and the other for the initial manner the virus problem was dealt with, we do not know all the facts, one thing is certain the biggest reason for the present situation is people ignoring the rules that would have reduced the numbers involved.

In our town we have now a high rate of infections.

See school children going to school in gangs almost holding hands, macho men refusing to wear a mask, gangs of young people strolling about not a care in the world.

Too easy David to just blame the government.

The biggest problem is the general public and those who think they have nothiing to fear.

The glitz/glamour & glitter scenario confuses certain types & they just do stupid type things when voting I suspect/suggest, unfortunately.  Now another 1700 odd dead again yesterday there from the virus issue under his watch I see & his family tree there is looking a bit sick for my way of thinking down here with Xmas coming up shortly & that magic/tragic number of 300,000 odd is knocking on the door I suspect somehow    . Now     land of the free it may be there, even if one is required to carry a gun etc     but if I had to choose     a plot with 300,000 odd dead from the virus pandemic issue by Xmas or one with less than a 1000 for the year     I would happily somehow here I'm   choose the latter any day   .

Bet 99% do not even know what Christmas is all about all they want is a good booze up.

Of course people want to see their loved ones but the cost in this case may be irrepairable with regards to numbers infected and deaths.

Afraid far too many selfish individuals are making the problem far worse than it should be.

Maybe one or more of the vacines being tested will prove a blessing.

True about the selfish factor Misty I'm . Dropping like flies in America & many of them are quoting their rites by the 2nd amendment there as a reason why they flatly refuse to have restrictions placed on them, to just help combat the virus pandemic scenario their fighting. Feel sorry for old Biden as his between a rock & hard place as such trying to do his best to combat the issue now. End of the day thou my bones tell me he is doomed to failure unfortunately, unless there is a huge change in the thinking process of the likes of Trump & all his supporters there. & take care
