the use of garlic

when ever i change the garlic, my wife or daughter always say..."have you been messing with garlic again" they say i stink of it....

i wish i could ian, couple of years ago i had a caravan which i sold.....i wish i had put it over into my allotment behind our house, id have stayed over there all the time....

but youve got the next best thing behind your house

yes your right ian, i havnt far to go plus i still get some peace and quiet there......

David i would get another caravan if things start to get worse mate

well ive tried everything don, messing with garlic, spending all my time with the pigeons and not doing anything around the house and she still wont go......think ill keep a look out for another caravan like you say....

The only thing i would say after all this trying is your wife is a goldmine who supports you with your sport and not forgetting she must love you to mate

yes i know don, only joking......she does support me with my hobby, she doesnt have much to do with them but she shows a little bit of interest and lets me spend time with them which im grateful for.........i suppose i drive her mad really, pigeon books all over the house, loft shoes, loft trousers and loft hoody left about....

As i have already said she is a goldmine

David just play your cards close to your chest mate

had ybs out today and they usually go off and fly for about 45-60 mins (on a good day) today they went off as usuall for about an hour, then they came back and flew round for another 50 mins......didnt want to come in, thought something must have scared them but realised that it hadnt as when they landed they were calm and relaxed. dont know why they flew for all this time, only thing i did different is the evening before when i fed them i gave them an extra oz of corn between 6 of them......would this have made any difference ?

yes david it does make a difference that why people build up there feed to the end of the week

would you say it was good they flew for this amount of time or will they be better for flying for just an hour ?

the better they fly around the doors the more fitter they become

yes i suppose.... only thing is i have to stand and wait for them to come in as there are a few cats about and hawks....

yes david,like don says its about getting the balance right.im sure you already know this but have you ever given too much and they wont come in?or not enough and they wont fly because they are hungry?.
