| If it is anything like rhumatism (spelling) you have my deepest sympathy.
I have it in both hands and hips etc; think we do not appeciate the lack of pain we have enjoyed previously.

| Yes it is arthritus I have not rhumatism.
Hands just cramp up and have to close and open to get some relief at times.
Sometimes get same in a leg and have to stiffen it until it goes.
Would be nice to go through life without pain, would it not ?.

| Ray get to the docs and ask for Voltarol gel on prescription, it's stronger than over the counter stuff. I get this unlimited amount, go through tubes of the stuff but can't manage without it. Hands worse in this freezing weather right now. It doesn't stink like some stuff either. I pay £10 a month direct debit to NHS prescriptions and allows me all prescriptions so get my money's worth. |

| Good advice regarding seeing the doctor, in particular if you are on any other medication, can conflict with some.
Believe can be taken orally.
Great if you can get relief in your hands, would need a bucket full to stop the pain in the back, legs, arms, hands ( fingers biggest worry for me).
Anything worth a try.
I take eye drops for glucomia and leveroxine for someyhing else and refused to take anything else or I would spend all my time at the pharmacy.
Eye sight most precious and thankfully the eye drops have kept the one eye good enough to drive, for the past 6/7 years.
Optitian says I have cataract and maybe have to have operation.
After making me blind in ane eye with bodged operation there is no chance of risking the one good eye.
Anyway hope you find a solution.
Regards. |
