Race Update 30/08/2021

they look very well eh....looking to have hotspot 2 on friday weather permitting ,you have to say it was a good race 29 away from over 800 ...looks like the one loft has turned a corner eh

yes good returns darren, but i cant help think about 650 birds gone before the first hot spot .........i expect some fanciers who entered wont be too happy about not even getting a race for their £125 per bird

yes a real disappointment when you dont even get to the hotspots we lost 2 ourselves this year

2nd hotspot will be friday weather permitting and if not the next available day of half decent weather

We can all feel disappointed at times but if you consider all the implications it is not as straight forward as we often make out.


If I was put in charge of 1,500 pigeons, a mixture from lofts from good bad to indifferent, with all the possible health and ability problems, I feel the end race would involve a six bird basket half full of participants.

But still feel the training programme needs radical changes.

As far as I am concerned think oldstrain has done us well to have two still in the hunt,and who knows ?.

Loking forward to the next race.
