| The most disturbing matter regarding this horrible problem is it can change over night from yes to no regarding pigeon shows and is a nightmare for all involved.
Just happy the Doncaster Show went well.
One can only hope they resolve the problem soon.
Obviously many will have booked accomodation etc; used to book months in advance to be near the event.
Fingers and everything else crossed.
Regards. |

| Animal and Plant Health Agency 12 h · There are now a number of #AvianInfluenza outbreaks across Great Britain. Poor biosecurity increases the risk of your birds being infected. Keeping them away from wild birds and storing their food and water undercover are 2 ways to reduce the risk. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/avian-influenza-bird-flu |

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/avian-influenza-bird-fl Latest from DEFRA 22nd Nov. . No mention specifically of pigeons. Appears to becomming more widespread, not a good sign. Would think the same restrictions will apply to pigeons as in previous instances. Cannot expect the RPRA to be up to date. Sorry cannot find any clear indication of the situation regarding pigeons. Just hope it does not spread more widely. Regards. |

Fingers and everything else crossed.
