Have about 50 all ages. My December hatched ones plus later ones all flying well. Earlier ones now 2 hours plus wing time. Many later hatched trying to keep up with them. No matter. Open loft for four hours after old brds, just about full feed. Not the feed. The feeling of getting up in the perpetual wind excites them! Some act like tumblers! Whatever makes them happy!

Would be far too many for my liking, I always wanted to know them as individuals and 20 was always enough.

Having them at different stages in the moult later on may be of benefit but it will be interesting to see the results.

Regards.

Actually too many for me. Guy who wanted some (free) went and paid for pedigreed birds. So heavy culling ahead.

Do not knock pedigrees Hal, they make very good paper planes that the owners can make and pass the time while waiting hours for after the none pedigree ones have been clocked.
