Spring arrives today down here & 50 years ago we all changed over from Fahrenheit to Celsius type of thing. Total waste of time in certain aspects I'm as ask most farmer types here & the likes of myself how much rain has falling in our gauges & we actually will still tell you in inches     & also how cold/hot it has been in Fahrenheit .

i still work in feet and inches knackered ,no centimeters or millimeters for me

Spoils matters for holiday makers wetting all the seats etc;

just got back from vets, more anti inflammatory pain killers and a steroid injection for her arthritis ,hopefully help her get about a bit better, also got weighed , put on a lot since her operation last year, looks like a pot bellied pig .

it is one of the family David so you do all you can well done

yes they are george, our dogs always have been, and always been rescue dogs

It is heart breaking to see the dogs and other animals abandond because of costs or because they no longer can be bothered having changed circumstances etc;

Would not get over losing Misty if  anything happened to him.

He is ten, eleven at Chrisrmas  when we got him they said he was born on Chrisrmas day, think it was  to put up the price, so all things being equal he should outlive me and look after my wife.

No way would I get over losing him.

Curled up between my wife and myself at this moment.

Same, same here Education program failed down here etc as still able to buy ft & inches rulers/tapes & the like here for the old school tragic types David.

bright and sunny morning here, just took 6 eggs from the hens section, all under the same hen ......looks like 3 birds paired to each other

rain, thunder and lightening during the night, stopped for now........coming brighter

Sunshine, 20s, children back at school, still plenty of holiday makers.

Can go put for a meal now witout it being spoilt  by noisy children whose parents

 do not give a fig how they behave.

do you think Ray if they had been on darkness they would have done better

i think darkness is good for those who can manage it correctly and know what they are doing, for the likes of me who hasnt really got a clue its not too good .
