| my first round wasnt too good if im honest, hatched /sold 20young birds, but my second round is a lot better, ive around 40 rung in the nest ....no idea why the first round hatch was poor, but they seem to be hatching better this time round |

| nothing that i can think of don, i normally just let the hens in the cocks section for them to find their mate from the year before, and go to their nest box.......i did get a few eggs come out of the bowls and go cold (maybe fighting ?), plus i did get just one in a nest from quite a few pairs, but this round theres 2 in nearly every nest ...i dont think the weather was too cold during pairing up or sitting the first round |

| more settled i would think david,alot of fanciers throw the first round of eggs ,good to hear things are going well,40 in the nest eh bet the corn bill is rising and the pooh piling up though atb |
