sure will george Even had them nest under the drinker stand 4 inches off the floor. I'm blocking it off with some ply once it goes in the loft, also will need to stop them getting up on the top somehow. I enjoy pottering about making stuff around the loft and garden when I get time off work. Unless it's wet and cold like today

This should be a clue regarding what makes a pigeon happy rather than the fancier.

Never liked clinical lofts not a pigeon's natural habitat.

Many fanciers I said years ago treat pigeons like ROBOTS.

Would not believe any fancier who has a clinical loft that says they do not have health problems and need to treat their pigeons constantly.

Immunity takes time to build up and seconds to ruin and clinical lofts do it the fastest.

Pigeons dry droppings are of benifit to a pigeons good health.

Tis a pig in muck situation.

We think it disgusting but the pig is happy.

A happy pigeon does not need any other motivation to win than a deep love of home.

If the pigeon's droppings were detrimental then the parents would remove them from the nest as many other birds do, look at any pictures of the old dove coats etc; droppings 3 ft high and the inmates as happy and healthy as Larry.

I always thought what was best for the pigeon and not how to impress visitors or anyone else, looks not everything.

Saw a video of a so called top fancier, he had a clinical loft he flew hundreds not
a dozen, lofts like a palace, he slipped up and nearly a quarter of it was for medicine and sick pigeons.

Look at a woodies nest or the rock doves neither remove the droppings from their nests, year on year.

Sorry George, I was talking about the nest and not the nest box.

Always had decent nest boxes, for years they had a compartment for the nest pan that you could not see, they prefer privacy.

If Ican master the photo business like you I will put a photo on.

colin, i have a hydraulic table lift, you pump it up with your foot, then pull a lever to lower it down again, i havnt used it for a while and i think air has got into the system so it only raises half way .....ive tried looking on you tube how to bleed them but cant find any info on them .

any clue please colin ...?
