Just statement of fact George not a competition. Just look at some of the eyes of the best performance pigeons eye sign enthusiasts would not give the majority house room. I was more than lucky, very fortunate, had performance pigeons that also won numerous cards in shows, think in many cases luck plays a major part think it did in mine. Regards. |

| dont get me started on eyesign sorry but for me the eyes dont have it the heart does though....eyesign is utter tosh for me ,have had some birds with fantastic eyesign masses of correlation, clusters in the eye etc...and cant fly 20 miles the basket is the best bet that is the best selection method, but it does no harm to look at the eyes it is a interesting theory but not one i would take too much note of along with any other theories other than the basket theory ,oh and that yellow eye is only best for racing and not breeding theory is alot of rubbish to good grief if you would listen to these eyesign gurus you would not have any birds left what about the fish eye i know a loft who had plenty but he won plenty to |

| as you say Darren every fancier looks at the eye i just like to see a good circle it don't have to be dark this eye i like but he don't fill eggs cost a lot of money as a yb 12 years ago i give all his ybs away just wish now had kept some you say basket tells not if you don't race |

| yes but you are getting there george by getting raced birds into your loft ,maybe then study the eyes off these birds then you will have a better picture ,i am in no way being critical here george it is a interesting theory and theories are all part and parcel of the game its hard getting decent raced stock into your loft as most want to keep them for breeding themselves because they know its the best way to go. |

| maybe because they dont loft fly george ? maybe they are not strenthening up due to being loft bound ? just a thought ...had a few out the nest like it but they soon levelled out ,mind you would not like to see it in a adult bird |

| The main and only real thing I looked for in the eye was a pupil that diluted as small as possible, and I did and do think it matters.
Just what are your plans George ?.
What do you intend doing with the young ones next year ?.
Why are you thinking of keeping the ones whose tails shoot up even if they prove to be alright in that respect ?.
Regards.
