i think out of many hundreds of pigeons the winner of the final is going to be healthy looking, all the ill or sick looking ones have long gone .

Cannot understand why you want to keep buying new pigeons George
before you have tried the ones you already have.

Many top class breeders are useless at racing.

Also many top class racers are useless breeders or it would all be too easy.

he only had 400 birds in that loft 1000 in rpra loft he is looking for 1000 but at £195 a bird

1000 birds, thats a big drop from 1,500 isnt it .....just shows fanciers arnt too happy with entering one lofts like they used to be ....

£195 a bird is a lot of money, will be keen to see how many he gets entered .

my friend entered 5 they were still there now none the 1st and 3rd birds last week missing next race Ile of Man middle of the Irish sea  Laughing  Laughing ]
96 home now from 389 the race point was Stranraer

Nothing makes any sense George with OL races, the only pattern being most pigeons are lost and they are not all bad ones, so for one reason or another
they are ill prepared.

scottish races are nick-named the graveyard races in my organisation george,i cannot remember a good race in all of the time i raced north of the border ,it always turned out a stiff race no matter the wind/weather confused
