RPRA , WHAT DO THEY DO ?

what do the rpra actually do ...? apart from notify fanciers if they loose a bird and it gets reported, what do we need them for really ?

that's for racing fanciers for non racing sell them rings nothing else David

rings,transfers ,distances,reporting a stray....cant think of anything else so why all the expense,why do we need a president and 3 vice presidents its not as if anyoone is attracting new members through being a president or vice president ,what are there roles i wonder ...i can remember calling the one loft liaison officer a oriental lady who knew feck all about it i had to tell her the basic rules myself seems to me people are getting money for old rope working at the rpra

They are in general just a Dinosaur from my view from a bi-gone type era etc. Have very little value now or worth all things considered from my end here O/S. International races maybe but any normal Fed/Combine can do & manage & also set an agenda worthy of it's members from my experience with the right mindset factor. Rings & strays always work for some one. But if I as a general example living on my pissy little island here can at a flick of a button on a computer find any club/federation from the north here to south & also the east to west for maybe reporting a stray or the like  why can't anyone within reason. Who really needs a Dinosaur these days like your RPRA as an example eating up all your money for very little benefit in a pigeon type sense in the end if being quite frank perhaps & maybe honest  .

exactly, our feds/amals and clubs do all the work involved in racing the birds, so the rpra isnt really needed, or at least not in the form they are at present with all the employees .

Easy to see your not one of the in-crowd mob David putting their hand out type thing maybe, for freebees from your RPRA establishment etc.

i get very little from being a club member knackered, only thing i benefit from is rings very slightly cheaper than direct from the rpra ........ but when you consider the cost of me paying club fees and rpra fees i`m a lot worse off.

ive been in two minds over the last few years, and i think the time has come to either race of resign from the club, and also join the nwhu for my rings .

Hard one that etc David I'm Perhaps maybe you could somehow discuss it with Putin, maybe before deciding either way as such .  

i think putin would run the rpra better than the mob we have running it now knackered ....

Heard a rumour David down here on the rumour file. Putin is rather keen & obsessed somewhat on coming to Leeds as such so you may just get your wish I suspect perhaps    .

thing is we dont get any choice knackered, they are in control of everything that happens....... joe public having a vote on things is just an illusion , if it made any difference it would be banned .
