| hi all ... im looking to build a new stock loft but dont know wat size loft to build with aviry on there is 10 pairs ... any one help me out just i dont know how much room per bird ...just i dont know if to move them away from me loft or to build it on to my 24 foot 3 section loft .... |

| phill as big as you can afford i would say.the bigger the better in my opinion,as they are stock birds they need as much room as possible,plus a massive aviary.just my opinion.others will say the bigger the more birds buts thats in your hands as well |

| agree with ray phil, build it as big as you can as the more room they have the better for them..........with these birds being stock birds you are right to build an aviery too and that also should be as big as you can build it, i have 12 birds in a 6x6 loft and its sometimes a bit hectic when they are fluttering around the loft....... |

| Will agree with comments Phil, for me a 12x6 loft with a full length avray the same as the loft 12x6 this gives the birds plenty of room to move about
But i would say have a loft of this size if you have the room and place it away from your racing loft, as the noise they make will disturb the widowhood cocks |

| thanxs lads sorted it out now will take a few pics once done im giveing up a 16ft sitting cabin up for stock birds and going to smaller tea house lol |

| going to extend my stock shed this year so i can have all stock in the same loft, then i can have another section for my widowers.............. |
