have we no results for any of the exchange ybs members have raced, or have they all been lost...............?

anyone got any left ?

we have one left from RAY ;
sent it to our last race from 100 miles.
and it was our 6th bird home out of the 8 sent.
but it will have time to develop into a nice yearling.
for next year if all go;s well.

i have the blue cock from ian left, it has only been to two open races and was clocked on one occasion (didnt clock in the other, wouldnt trap) so ill be having him in my widowood cocks team next year all being well........his nestmate a pied hen unfortunately was lost from the first open race, but gutted as she was a nice bird.

david the one we are left with is a game little hen.
was lost at consett.
came home after a week and been living off the fields
she was in the loft for a other week and sent 100 miles.
when i seen her come out of the sky and closing her wing;s
and go right into the loft. i was more then pleased .

John must say she has made a mistake and she has learnt from it which shows the quality of the pigeon, getting back on there own steam

I still have the blue hen left, she as not raced for last two weeks as she came back all smashed up , she will still be here as a yearling as i think she as earned her place

got loads of sorting out to do still got 40 youngbirds left only need 8 cocks for next year

Hi david spent the day sorting them out, all done, young bird loft scrubed and burnt out closed down for winter now, i never wait untill they have gone through the moult, as they all look like world beaters, and its harder to reduce them

i couldnt do it ken, have put couple of day old sqeekers in bucket of water many years ago but couldnt do it now and i could never do an old bird............that explains why ive nearly 50 pigeons.......

back down to 16 cocks and 16 hens plus the 6 pair of stock

if i can get rid of these 6 pairs ill be down to about 4 pairs stock and 18 yearlings....

david just do it other wise they will take up space and interfer with ur race team unless u are going to train them up over the winter months

i,ve lost my exchange birds and my auction birds this year but they are not the only ones i,ve lost about 20 odd altogether
