| this week is our lillers don but at the same time we are basketing for newark open race, was going to enter but with the bad weather we have had all week there has been no training or exercise around the loft so i dont think ill be sending now...... |

| Mate your birds have had plenty of training a few races there is nothing wrong with that just let the bird moult and mature for next year |

| yes don, thats exectly what ken said.......i recon they will have had approx 12 - 15 trainers at 35 miles and two open races from newark 56 miles......so they should be ok to race as yearlings next season, and like you say, the birds which were not on dark are dropping to bits now and ive only about 5 birds left which were on the dark but they are not moulting at all yet.  |

| yes don, ive made quite a few mistakes this first year back and hardly had much racing....but i have learned from some of the mistakes ans will definately need to do some alterations to my loft etc and my management, also i experrimented with the dark system but have realised it must be done correctly and for the full duration (longest day) and i will definately be doing it next time. |

| our club race tommorrow is lillers mick, also basketing tonight at our club for newark open race for tommorrow.................then next week its our last race from peterborough. |

The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
